Lisbon is the first city to screen some episodes of the documentary series “UBI: A road to Freedom”.

On 9 November, around 18h00, at Cinema São Jorge, we will present the first three episodes of this series that intends to promote a critical thinking about Freedom:

Episode 1: What is UBI?

Episode 2: Technology, employment and companies

Episode 3: Poverty and social inequalities

After the episodes screening, we will talk about the future.

Why do we have to discuss the future of society in all the areas mentioned in the episodes? Why is it ever more urgent to do so? What can be at stake in our survival?

In this debate, chaired by MEP Francisco Guerreiro, we will hear the opinions of Carla Guapo da Costa, Full Professor at the Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas, Cristina Rodrigues, independent MP in the Portuguese Parliament, and Catarina Neves, teacher at the University of Minho and the NOVA School of Business and Economics.
